As Seventh-day Adventists we place a great deal of importance upon healthful living. We believe true Christianity not only promises an eternal life to come, but helps us enjoy the highest quality of life while on this earth. We believe God's basic principles of good health can be easily remembered in the following acronym.

             N utrition         Eat a balanced diet of fruits, nuts, grains, and vegetables.

            E xercise         Maintain a consistent strengthening and cardiovascular program.

            W ater             Drink 8 twelve ounce glasses of pure water daily.

             S unshine        Enjoy a little each day. Have protection for long exposure.

            T emperance     Abstain from illegal drugs, alcohol and tobacco.

            A ir                   Get out into the fresh air daily.

            R est                 The body needs 7 to 8 hours every night!

            T rust in God     Accept the source of peace and joy. His Spirit reduces stress for healthful, happy living!
